Pre-incorporation terms.

AegisMesh is pre-incorporation. Until the entity “AegisMesh” is registered, all intellectual property (code, copy, designs, marks, and the logo) is owned by Akash Shaw. On incorporation, these terms will transfer to AegisMesh and all intellectual property will be assigned to the entity by founder assignment deed. All rights and obligations under these terms transfer to AegisMesh as part of that transfer; no party loses contractual continuity, and no action is required from anyone. An incorporation notice will be posted on this site.

The website

aegismesh.dev is informational. Nothing on this site is a binding offer, a warranty, or a service-level commitment.

Design-partner program

Invitation-only. Submitting the intake form is a request to be considered, not an entitlement. We may decline any application without explanation and without creating any obligation. Pilot terms are negotiated individually under a mutual non-disclosure agreement and a data-processing agreement. There is no service-level agreement today.

Acceptable use

You may not (a) automatically scrape this site at rates that disrupt service, (b) reverse-engineer hosted assets, (c) republish or redistribute our copy or designs without written permission, (d) impersonate AegisMesh, the founder, or any design partner, (e) test malware, exploits, or denial-of-service techniques against this site without first coordinating with us through responsible disclosure, or (f) use this site to attempt unauthorised access to any system.

Intellectual property

The AegisMesh wordmark, the logo, all source code, copy, illustrations, and design assets are the exclusive property of Akash Shaw until incorporation, after which they will belong to AegisMesh. Viewing this site grants you no licence to them. Reproduction or republication requires written permission. Email hello@aegismesh.dev.

No warranties

The site and any pre-release materials are provided “as is.” To the extent permitted under the Indian Contract Act, 1872, we make no warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Pilot deployments are governed by their individual contracts, not by this notice.

No liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of this site. Pilot-specific liability terms are set out in each design partner's contract.

Termination and data portability

We may discontinue this site at any time. If you have submitted a design-partner inquiry, you may request an export of your submitted data within 30 days of any termination by emailing hello@aegismesh.dev. Form data is otherwise deleted on the schedule in our Privacy Notice.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, where applicable. Any dispute arising from your use of this site is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

Aegisbox end-user licence

Aegisbox is a separately-licensed software product distributed by AegisMesh (pre-incorporation: by Akash Shaw, founder, acting in his individual capacity). When you purchase a paid Aegisbox tier through our payments provider, you accept the Aegisbox end-user licence agreement presented at checkout. Key terms:

• Licence grant: a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to run the Aegisbox software on the Macs your plan allows (Free: unlimited devices; Individual: 3 devices per seat; Team and Compliance: per seat).
• Refund policy: 30-day money-back, no questions asked. Refunds are processed by our payments provider (the merchant of record) using your original payment method. Founder-priced plans are refundable on the same terms, but the founder slot returns to the available pool on refund.
• When a paid licence can be revoked: we may revoke a paid licence for (a) breach of the acceptable-use terms above, (b) use to attempt unauthorised access to any system, (c) reverse-engineering or unauthorised redistribution of the software, or (d) sustained non-payment of recurring fees after notice. Revocation gently drops the Mac app back to the Free tier; any records and events already saved or sent to your own logging system remain yours.
• No service-level agreement today. The current release is a pre-incorporation pilot. The Compliance tier introduces response-time and uptime commitments in a later release; until then, the only commitment is best-effort founder-direct support during India business hours.
• Liability cap: total liability for any claim arising out of Aegisbox use is capped at the fees you actually paid in the 12 months before the claim. This cap does not limit liability for (a) fraud, (b) gross negligence, or (c) anything that cannot be excluded under applicable Indian law.
• Data handling: see our Privacy Notice, in particular the “Aegisbox product” section. By default, Aegisbox sends nothing off your device.
• Authenticity: the Aegisbox app is signed under our official Apple Developer identity. We do not authorise distribution of Aegisbox under any other identity.

The full standalone licence accompanies each purchase confirmation email. Where that standalone licence conflicts with this notice, the standalone licence prevails for that purchase.

The date of incorporation will be recorded here. Post-incorporation terms will become the formal terms of service of AegisMesh, and this notice will be archived for reference.
